Ogden High seniors Carter Parsons and Jack Blodgett placed second and third in the Class 3A boys final at the Utah High School Activities Association state cross country championship meet at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Parsons covered the 5-kilometer layout in 16:11.5, improving from 12th place last year, and Blodgett ran 16:15.8 to lead Ogden to back-to-back team titles and the eighth in program history with a 52-106 victory against Canyon View.
